SUNDAY 27th September
Sutton Green
Yes you read that correctly. After 10 fabulous years organising the Surrey Hills Distinguished Gentleman’s ride we have ventured out and joined the car event. Now in its 5th year worldwide this is our first.
Open to car 40 years and older, with the same remit as the Ride. Raise awareness for mens health, prostate cancer and mental health.
Given it’s our first you would expect 50 maybe 60 cars at best! After all the London event has 66, Johannesburg 93, but wait for it…
Sutton Green 145 and there is still time to book your pride and joy in. Click the link below and be part of something special.
Arrive at the pub at 8am, have breakfast, talk cars and other stuff and set off at 10am. A tour of the countryside ending at Goodwood Motor circuit where we join up with 9 other drives.
Arrangements for participants.
Due to the sheer size, parking will be split.
Cars registered 1960 or prior (currently 40 cars) will park in the Pub Car Park.
Cars 1961 to 1986 will park in the recreation ground 200 yards from the pub.
Full English, or simply bacon or sausage baps along with tea and coffee will be on offer from 8am, proceeds going to the Charity of course.
At 10am we will start our drive. The inherently slower, older cars will be released from the pub Car Park first, followed by those parked at the recreation ground.
At all times rules of the road apply, along with a large helping of patience and common sense. This is a huge event, making a huge difference. If we want to do it again next year, then this has to be done properly.

Volunteers
As always we need people to help. If you have nothing better to do on Sunday morning from about 7am and would like a free breakfast let me know. We will need people at the pub car park, someone on the bend directing cars either to the pub or the recreation ground and people at the recreation ground overseeing the parking of the cars
Just coming for a look?
Spectators will be able to park in the car park that was Elm Nursery>
Thanks for supporting this event guy.
