Christmas Menu 2026
Our Christmas menu will be available from Monday 30th November to Thursday 24th December, with pre-orders required.
As we’ll need both a deposit and your menu choices in advance, the best way to book is to contact us directly by email or telephone rather than booking through OpenTable.
Alex has put together some fantastic Christmas menus over the years, but I have to say, this one might just be his best yet. There’s plenty to look forward to!

New Year’s Eve – The Surrey Soul Sensation!
Back in 2019, New Year’s Eve at The Olive Tree involved a tasting menu, matched wines and espresso martinis at 2am. Since then, if I’m honest, our celebrations have been a little less spectacular. Perhaps even a damp squib!
There are understandable reasons. Drink-driving isn’t an option, so if you want to raise a glass at midnight, someone needs to be heading home well before then. And if staying out is the plan, there’s the small matter of finding a taxi. Inflated prices, limited availability and persuading one to venture out from Guildford town centre to the metropolis of Sutton Green can all prove something of a challenge!
Last year, we threw in the towel and closed at 8pm.
Well, not this year. New Year’s Eve is BACK – and we’re doing it properly!
Following some fabulous party nights with The Surrey Soul Sensation throughout the year, we’re absolutely delighted to welcome them back to help us see out 2026 and dance our way into 2027.
Here’s the plan:
- Early evening: A limited menu will be available for those wanting to enjoy a bite to eat before the celebrations begin.
- 8pm: The party starts! Time to get those glad rags on, gather your friends and hit the dance floor.
- Around 10pm: We’ll serve up some hearty food to keep you fuelled for the rest of the evening.
- Midnight: Bring on 2027!
I’m already hearing rumours of groups planning outfits and themes, so don’t be shy. Dress up, get involved and bring your dancing shoes. Expect the very best of Northern Soul and Motown, with plenty of opportunities to show off those moves you thought you’d left behind in the 70s!
